Assassination and funeral of President Lincoln : [scrapbook] / arranged by C.C. Carrington for her son E. Carrington Jr., finished Feb.y. 10th. 1871, 1865-1883.

Newspaper and periodical clippings, many illustrated, as well as some separately issued portraits and other graphics, concerning the assassination of Lincoln, the trial and execution of the conspirators, and U.S. and foreign responses to these events. The bulk of the materials date from 1865; further items, up to Oct. 1874, were pasted in at the end, and a scattering of clippings up to 1883 was laid in (now in an accompanying envelope).
